ETSU Soccer Stadium Questions

This article has a lot of answers and more questions concerning the status of the ETSU Soccer Stadium. It's fairly well written and quite comprehensive. Let's hope they give the Soccer Teams a lot of attention when they actually start playing.

Soccer Stadium behind schedule

Athletic Director, Dave Mullins, catches some undeserved flak in the comments. He referred questions to his Facilities manager, just as he should have in an effective organization.

Does anybody besides me get the feeling that there is a lingering animosity because ETSU did away with a football program that lost millions each year?

The inaugural schedule announcement, for those who missed it.

The announcement of 18 additional players for the first season.

The 2008 class of signees includes players from Tennessee, North Carolina,
Texas, Georgia and Indiana. This is a very talented class with several players
having earned numerous ODP selections and two High School All-Americans.

I took a few pictures at the Tusculum indoor tournament, but with the seriously bad lighting inside the complex, I don't feel like they're worthy of posting. Let's hope outdoor season gets here soon.

Cheers!

Soctoberfest

Here are the first pix from Clemson.

The ETSU boys made it to the semifinal game at Clemson before being knocked out by Kentucky in a tough game.

The Bucs created lots of chances that they were unable to put in the net as the breaks just didn't fall their way.

For those of you who don't know, Clemson B won the Tournament, defeating Georgia and Kentucky on Sunday.

The ETSU v Clemson A game was a great contest for our boys, but I have no pictures since it was played under some seriously bad lighting.

On any other day Mohsen puts this in the net.
